Q: What aesthetic laser services do you currently offer?
A: I currently perform hair reduction, IPL/photofacial and non-ablative fractional resurfacing with the Cynosure Icon laser, treatment of vascular/pigmented lesions and scars with the Vbeam Perfecta and a diode laser, and body contouring with the Sculpsure laser.
Q: What are the most common requested treatments? Does it vary by season?
A: The most commonly requested treatments I perform are the nonablative fractional resurfacing for rejuvenation and scar therapy, and the Vbeam Perfecta for vascular lesions. I perform a lot of combination laser therapies, depending on each patient’s specific concerns and clinical presentation. I perform these treatments year-round, but perform fewer IPL/photofacial treatments in the summer because I prefer to perform these treatments when sun exposure is less of an issue.
Q: Have you always offered these as a part of your practice?
A: I have offered laser therapy in my office since, I believe, 2003. I have always been interested in laser therapy for both medical and cosmetic concerns, so I decided to add lasers into my practice soon after setting up my own office.
Q: What type of training did you need to be able to be certified to use aesthetic lasers in your practice?
A: I received training in laser therapy in my dermatology residency program (as well as) specific training for each of the lasers at the time of purchase from certified instructors, in addition to visiting the offices of practicing physicians for additional training
Q: Have you purchased lasers from manufacturers or other refurbished laser companies in the past? How was that experience compared to your experience with Sentient?
A: I have purchased both brand new and refurbished lasers in the past. Doing business with Ryan Haller with Sentient Lasers was a very pleasant, professional, straight-forward and easy experience. Ryan is very dependable, respectful and always available to answer questions. He always responded to my questions within 24 hours and, often, within one to two hours. I would definitely do business with him again
